Passing the Torch

The years between 1995 and 2000 were filled with agony, exhaustion, and exhiliration.  It was all because of the Leukemia Society's Team in Training program.  I signed up to run the Paris Marathon in honor of my patient-hero, D.J. Miller, a recovering leukemia survivor.  That one marathon turned into marathons in Bermuda, Athens, Anchorage, New Orleans, and Honolulu.

Now I am passing the torch to my friend Katie Jarzab, a star high school and college runner.  Katie will run the Marine Corps marathon this Fall in honor of two recovering leukemia survivors.  Her fund-raising golf scramble will be August 16th.  Here is more info.  Support Katie as she helps support those fighting for a cure!

Thanks for your help!

Amazing! Trina, I did not know you were a marathon runner. Very impressive.

However, I must admit to being partial to the Marine Corps Marathon. I am a former Marine.

Yes, Michael, I was. And does this mean that you will be donating to this event???!!! Or telling all your former comrades, if that is what they are called?
Thanks for your support!
